PROMISE FULFILLED: CLASS OF 2010
Sam Radley
The Sequoyah class of 2010 voted Sam Radley as “Most Likely to Succeed”. His activities during high school year support their choice. He was one of five Valedictorians. He was Vice-President of the senior class. He participated in sports including football and golf, as well as a member of FFA, receiving his FFA degree his senior year.
So, what has Sam Radley been doing since high school graduation in 2010?
Sam has been attending Oklahoma State University. Just after his junior year at OSU, he was granted the honor of early admittance into OSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Students who are granted admittance in this program, attend a ceremony where they receive a white doctor lab coat. Sam can be seen at this ceremony along with his mentor, local veterinarian Tracy Patton DMV.
According to Sam on his time at Sequoyah, “I’m not a genius nor am I a star athlete. That didn’t matter though. Coaches and teachers at Sequoyah taught me that I could do anything as long as I was willing to work hard enough for it. I was a member of a state championship football team, a valedictorian, and got into a top-rated vet school. I attribute everything to the faculty of Sequoyah, along with my family. After everything they’ve done, I pray I can make them proud.”
