SMS Academic Teams Win in Oologah!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Sequoyah Middle School Seventh Grade Team-1 won second place at the Area Academic Bowl Tournament held in Oologah on Jan. 25.
The team members pictured (L-R) are: Zayne Clappe, Eli Wood (Captain), Jesse Razor, Trinity Chaney, and Sharon Holmes (Coach). The team will travel to El Reno in February for the state competition.
The Sequoyah Middle School Eight Grade Team-1 took first place honors at the Area Academic Bowl Tournament held in Oologah on Jan. 25.
The team members pictured (L-R) are: Braxton Bulman, Tegan Riley, ElyasJano, Dakota Cribb, Samantha Stipe, Lindsay O'Neill (Co-Captain), Mandy Albin (Coach), and Morgan Holman (Captain). By taking first in the Area Tournament, the team automatically earned a position in the State Tournament being held in El Reno, OK, on 25 February.
