My name is Jon Hall, I have been teaching for over 5 years. I graduated from Reynolds High School in 2005. I took some time away from school and got what I call a "real job" in the Mid-America Industrial Park in Pryor, OK. After a few years of that and the recession in 2008 I found myself unemployed and looking for work. I was asked to help some students at Chouteau Public School as a paraprofessional. Within a few months I realized I wanted to be a teacher, I saw the impact that teachers and coaches can have on their students. So I decided to go to college to pursue my degree in education. I started at NSU and attended there for a few semesters. I finished my education at Cameron University in Lawton, OK. I began my teaching career at Foyil High School where I taught History and coached football, basketball, and baseball. That is where I met my wonderful wife Ashlee Hall. Since we have been married we have had our two children Paislee and Colton. This is my first year at Sequoyah Public School and I am looking forward to teaching and getting to know the students in my classes. I have always tried to be a teacher first and a coach second.
