Welcome to 7th & 8th Grade
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year! I am excited to work with your 7th and 8th grade students and look forward to making this a successful, productive, and enjoyable year for everyone.
Middle school is an important time for students as they become more independent, develop new skills, and prepare for the next steps in their education. My goal is to provide a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to do their best.
Staying Informed
Communication between school and home is an important part of student success. Throughout the year, I will provide information about assignments, upcoming activities, important dates, and classroom expectations through several online resources.
You can find important class information through:
School Website: My teacher page on the school website will serve as a central location for classroom information and resources.
Google Classroom: Assignments, announcements, materials, and other class information will be posted in Google Classroom.
Planbook: Daily lessons, assignments, due dates, and other classroom information will be available through Planbook.
The links to Google Classroom and Planbook can be found directly on my teacher page on the school website. I encourage parents and students to check these resources regularly so that everyone stays up to date.
Working Together
I believe students are most successful when parents, teachers, and students work together. Please encourage your student to check their assignments regularly, stay organized, ask questions when they need help, and take responsibility for their learning.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. I value your communication and want to work together to help your student have a successful school year.
