First Grade Class Adopts Texas Classroom

Students from Mrs. Nadal’s 1 st  grade class recently adopted a classroom from the Johnny T. Clarke Jr. Elementary in Baytown, Texas whose students had been directly affected by hurricane Harvey.  Her class partnered with Claremore Hillcrest Hospital to collect supplies and backpacks to send to the students in Texas. Mid High Students of the Month

The Sequoyah Mid-High has reinstated the “Student of the Month” program to recognize students who reflect positively on the student body through exemplary leadership, citizenship, service, and character.  In addition, students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and be involved in extracurricular activities.  Each month, a student can be nominated by either a teacher or another student for recognition.  . . .

Cinammon Rolls With Grandparents

Sequoyah Elementary saw a huge turnout for their recent Cinnamon Rolls with Grandparents and Special Friends morning sponsored by the EAGLE PASS (PTO) organization. Students and their family members were served up homemade cinnamon rolls, milk, juice and coffee. All proceeds will be used by EAGLE PASS to assist teachers with supplying classroom needs for their students. Hold mouse on picture for details.
