Log Off and Learn Policy
At Sequoyah Public School we are committed to our vision for all students to love to learn.
In support of this mission-and in compliance with state law-we will continue to enforce our "Log Off and Learn" policy for all grades, which includes a no personal device usage while on campus approach.
Personal devices include, but are not limited to: cell phones, handheld devices, smartwatches, smart glasses, any other messaging or communication technology.
All devices must be turned off and stored in a student's cubby, locker or vehicle during school hours.
Sequoyah Public School will provide appropriate learning devices to students as needed, based on judgment of classroom teachers and school administrators.
This policy reflects our continued commitment-and the law's requirement-to foster a focused, engaging, and distraction-free learning environment where learning and meaningful communication come first.
