Class of 2024
The inaugural class of the Sequoyah Athletic Hall of Fame was inducted at the Olan Graham Field House.
Jody Iams was Head Football coach for 17 seasons with a record of 120-74 and 15 playoff appearances and a STATE Championship in 2006.
David Prater, 1977 graduate, is the only Sequoyah boys basketball All-Stater and is the all-time leading scorer in school history.
Tim Martin, 1994 graduate, was the first ever Sequoyah Eagle football player to sign a letter of intent to play Division I football. Tim played defensive tackle at the University of Tulsa and went on to play professionally for 8 years.
Megan Fuller, 2009 graduate, was a three sport standout and a two-time STATE Champion in both the shot put and discus and still holds the school record for both.
Melanie McMains Price, 1996 graduate, was an All-State softball player on the State Runner-Up team. Melanie was Team Captain for the University of Southern Mississippi team that went to two College World Series.
The Sequoyah Volleyball teams from 1966-1971 received Special Recognition for their extraordinary accomplishments. During this remarkable period the Sequoyah teams secured four STATE Championships and two Runner-Up titles.
