CSI Invades Sequoyah

With the addition of the Forensic Science program at Sequoyah High School, students in Mr. Steve Harshfields’,Forensic Science, class are getting to experience firsthand the world of several of the most popular crime fighting shows on television.  Assisted by crime scene experts from several local law enforcement agencies, Mr. Harshfields’ students are learning the steps and procedures used to investigate crimes, gather evidence, and process crime scenes.  Mr. Harshfield related, “This is our first year to offer a course of this nature and it seems the students are really enjoying it.  My hope is to continue to expand the course allowing students to see what it is really like to be a Crime Scene Investigator.”
