Cherokee Challenge Bowl Winners

SEQUOYAH LOWER ELEMENTARY PLACES AT VIRTUAL CHEROKEE CHALLENGE/LANGUAGE BOWL 2021

            For the first ever virtual competition conducted by Cherokee Nation, 5 students from Sequoyah Lower Elementary were able to achieve winnings. This time they had to compete individually instead of as a team.  They are: Back row Teacher Hellen Henry, 1^st Grader 2^nd place winner Lola Conger, 2^nd Grader 1^st place winner Taylin Wood. Front row: 1^st Grader 1^st place winner Kambri Hutchens, 1^st Grader 3^rd place winner Jayson Woods and 2^nd Grader 1^st place winner Kesslee Tramel.

AT VIRTUAL CHEROKEE CHALLENGE/LANGUAGE BOWL 2021

        Sequoyah Upper Elementary students also competed in virtual competition while at school. Students on three teams who played individually were able to come away as winners.

            Continuing the winning tradition, a team from Sequoyah High School also placed in virtual competition while at school. Back row 11^th Grader 2^nd place winner Sidney Roland, 12^th Grader 1^st place winner Samantha Stipe, 9^th Grader 2^nd place winner Cullen Stipe.
